I cannot tell a lie (as far as you know!), but I have been eating here for 20 years. The food is delish and the staff is always super on their game. Make a reservation for ANY night if you have more than 2 people and DON'T be in a hurry, the food will arrive hot and awesome but this is a notch above and they don't rush it they create it. You will not be disappointed in the quality but don't expect it to arrive in 10-15 minutes...

We love coming here for an intimate dining experience and amazing food! Their menu always has a nice variety of delicious Italian options for everyone. I enjoy seeing their daily specials as well as their trusted "regulars" on the menu. My parents live out of state and MUST come to the Med every time they are in town to visit. Last time they were here for four days and went twice!...

Love this restaurant and love the family! We support them especially during this time. My wife and her family is from New Jersey & New York so they are Italian food snobs and they LOVE this place. Go try it, it's a destination even if you live outside of Alpine or East County SD!

...My mom always gets the Melenzane Ripiene - technically an appetizer but she has it as a vegetarian main - and even in the to go container, it looked beautiful. She loves how fresh the sauce tastes and how warm and melty the cheese is. It has fresh basil and a balsamic reduction on it, as well. My dad had the Salsiccia e Funghi pizza and commented on how the toppings were so perfectly paired...
